The Royal Attire is Alex Frentz. Originally from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, (right across the bridge from Biloxi) Alex has been struggling to record progressive pop music since the early 2000’s. Frentz's songs are short, melodic pop tunes often laced with satirical, heartwarming or just plain stream-of-consciousness lyrics that strike a universal chord with listeners (or so we've been told). On the other hand some people have said "Is this supposed to be funny or sad or what?" and  "it looks like their singer should lay off the cheeseburgers" and  most commonly "What the fuck are we listening to?" The live band has never been quite successful enough to warrant full tours but on occasion Alex will book a string of shows to test out new material and work the local open-mic nights. Frentz currently resides in Ocean Springs, MS, once again, and is working on his long awaited fifth album, EVERYBODY GET COMPLACENT, as well as a score of other concepts.
